PRODUCTS

Ron Esclavo is an homage to the slaves who paid a high price in the history of sugar cane and rum.

The series consists of four delicate premium rums from the Dominican Republic, all tropically aged. Each edition is crafted with passion, using fresh juice from hand-cut sugar canes and American and French oak barrels for aging.

Experience the new Ron Esclavo Limited Editions with exciting finishes. The series consists of three new bottlings, two of which matured in ex-Islay whisky casks, which give the rum a fantastic smoky note. The third bottling received a Moscatel wine finish, which gives the rum a wonderfully fruity character.

Palate: A clear smokey note deriving from the barrel combined with lush stone fruits and a touch of black pepper. All in all a complex profile with a surprisingly mild finish.

PRODUCTION

Ron Esclavo is fermented, distilled and matured in the Dominican Republic. The rum is produced by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos who cultivate their own sugarcanes, making sure the rum consists of crops purely from the Dominican Republic.

Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos is the largest producer of alcohol in the Dominican Republic, and thereby the company plays a significant role in the community, securing work for hundreds of locals.

AN HOMAGE TO HISTORY

Esclavo is the Spanish word for slave. This rum is named so in order to pay tribute to the people who paid the highest price for us to enjoy this amazing spirit today. By remembering the dark history of rum production, we make sure we appreciate the development in the rum industry today.
